The rug that was missing

Walk any home aisle and bath mats split into two camps: the good-looking ones that go flat and stay wet, and the absorbent ones you would rather hide. TYUU exists to close that gap. We design original patterns we actually want on the floor, then build them over a weave that pulls its weight — the waffle and boho textures are chosen for what they do, not only for how they photograph.

Two decades in textiles

The people behind TYUU have spent twenty years around looms and finishing lines, and it shows in the small things: a backing that grips without smelling of rubber, edges that survive the wash, colors that stay true past the tenth cycle. Careful finishing is the part nobody notices until a cheaper mat frays and theirs does not.

Kind by default

Every TYUU product is vegan-friendly and animal-friendly. A soft place to stand should not come at an animal's expense, and it does not have to — modern fibres and honest construction do the job. We would rather earn a repeat customer with a rug that lasts than chase a trend with one that does not.

Original, on purpose

We do not copy the pattern of the season. Every design in the range starts on our own table, so you will find shapes and colorways here that you will not find under three other brand names. Taste your uniqueness — the whole point is that your bathroom looks like yours.
